CUTLASS - First in Wireless Reality

SPONSORS REACH THOUSANDS IN CUTLASS HUNT FOR MADONNA

On Thursday July 26, wireless CUTLASS pirates will scour Times Square on a wild hunt for Madonna tickets. Clues for the hidden treasure will be delivered on cell phones, wireless PDAs, RIMs, the net, and fancy footwork. Throughout the two-hour hunt, sponsor's messages will be delivered by product placement and ad-embedded clues to the affluent, tech-savvy players which are critical in winning the game, all delivered via exciting new technologies. Players assisting on the web and others watching the game's live media coverage also see the same messages.

For the Madonna game, CUTLASS offers four levels of sponsorship:

  • A single company can sponsor the entire Madonna game. Its name and logo will appear at the top of the web window during the two-hour live web coverage. The company also receives opening credit on the player's wireless interface screen, top-billing in a two-minute game summary video, a custom-designed clue, still images in the archived post-game CUTLASS review, and a sponsorship credit with a link to the company site.
  • Companies can also sponsor the grand prize, receiving pre-game publicity, promotion throughout game coverage, and spotlighted placement at the game's end. This also includes promotion in the two-minute video, still images in the post-game CUTLASS review, and sponsorship credit with a link to the company site.
  • Companies can also sponsor custom-designed clues, with their promotion embedded in its solution, receiving product placement in the two-minute video, a still image in the post-game CUTLASS review, and sponsorship credit with a link to the company site.
  • Companies can also sponsor swag, a number of smaller prizes, with their product placed directly in the hands of the winners, receiving product placement in the two-minute video, a still image in the post-game CUTLASS review, and sponsorship credit with a link to the company site.
