CUTLASS - First in Cross Channel Entertainment
IT'S COMING
Remember when you wet your pants hiding inches away from the hot breath of IT? CUTLASS makes you IT, starting fall 2001 in Times Square when squads armed with wireless devices--PDA's, cell phones, and pagers--have two hours to catch you or be caught. Countdown for the next game starts the minute you cross into the CUTLASS sector of twelve square blocks. Using 3-D range finding (MPS), every time you log on to find another player, you give away your position. Forget about reality TV. Forget about lazer tag. You saw Matrix? You might already be playing.
IT is the latest of CUTLASS' real-time/wireless experiences and the second in Times Square. On 01/01/01, players hunted for treasure fighting through the New Years' mobs. Check out the movie. This time the reward is IT. Can you stand it?
CUTLASS was founded in August 2000 to link the virtual and real world through a variety of wireless devices. CEO Steve Bull is a recognized innovator in digital communications with Paul Allen’s Interval Research, CBS, ABC, PBS, and Japanese TV prior to founding CUTLASS.
